Hello and welcome to Please Expand. I'm Ahilleas, your host. I haven't always had a passion for non-fiction books. A couple of years ago my friend suggested that we do a bookclub as a way of forcing each other to get through arduously long and grueling non-fiction books. It turned out to be a great idea and the inspiration for Please Expand.

J.A. Velasco graduated with honours in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (P.P.E.). He arrived at the University of Warwick in 2015, where he completed an MSc. in Economics, followed by an MA. in Writing. He is working on his first novel.
